What are resources and how to add them.

Welcome to the guide on managing resources in Shakeyourtail. In this guide, you will learn how to add, edit, and save working hours for employees. You can assign bookings to resources to easily see which employee is grooming which dog on your schedule page. This is completely optional however and you could have a resource simply named groomer. Follow the instructions below to get started.

Access the resources tab.

Initiate adding a new resource

Enter the name of the resource

Enter "Debbie Ross" as the name

Step 5

Choose a colour. This colour will be displayed on your schedule, so you will have a clear view of which employee is grooming which dog.

You can also upload an image for your resource. This could be a photo of them, a business logo, or even a favourite picture of their choice.

Upload the image if you wish.

Add the resource.

Now you can select the working hours. These can be changed both by the hour and day, and you can also record which days your business is closed, and if staff members have days off, whether they are their permanent hours, or even if they have booked a one off day or holiday. This is particularly helpful as the service will inform you of this if you try to book a client in with them and they are booked off that day.

Now your resource hours are set, you can begin to allocate bookings to them.
