In this guide, you will learn how to set up online booking efficiently using Shakeyourtail. Each step will take you through the necessary actions to enable and configure the online booking features seamlessly.
1. Step 1
Access the "Sites" section.
2. Step 2
Click on your site, or the site (if you have more than one) that you would like to set up online booking on.
3. Step 3
Scroll down to Online Booking.
4. Step 4
Select "Online Booking."
5. Step 5
Your unique Portal link is what gives your clients access to be able to book online.
6. Step 6
You can copy and paste this link into emails, texts and insert it into your website or social media platforms.
7. Step 7
Click here to enable online booking.
8. Step 8
9. Step 9
If you have multiple resources you may wish to allow for one pet to be booked per groomer. Or disable to allow multiple pets booked to one.
10. Step 10
Now you can choose who your online booking is open to. Both registered and new clients. Or just registered, meaning new clients have to contact you directly to register first.
11. Step 11
Choose "Registered Clients Only."
12. Step 12
Auto Acceptance. Choose if you want to allow clients to make bookings and for the system to automatically book them in, or the alternative, where you can review the request and either accept or decline. You can also personalise this further by only auto accepting registered clients, if your online booking is open to all. So new customers registering can be reviewed by you first.
13. Step 13
If you do allow new customers to book online, you can limit them as to how many pets they can have and book in one appointment.
14. Step 14
Service selection. If you also have services, these can be displayed and added to a booking online. Remember, when creating a new service, if you do want it to be something that a client can add to there appointment, make it available to view by clicking on 'publish online' in the services tab.
15. Step 15

23. Step 23
And also, a maximum request notice.
24. Step 24
Here you can upload a picture, logo or theme for your portal, that your clients will see when they log in.
25. Click here
And finally, this is where to add your terms and conditions for the client to tick that they have read before booking the appointment.
